Hello again everybody.I hope you all have had a good summer and that you have lots of plans for the autumn and winter ahead.All of our groups are in good heart,a number of new members have joined but we are still along way off the 200 I want by 31st December.Keep up the pressure on recruitment there is a whole army of people who would benefit from our organisation as we in turn would benefit.This was demonstrated by the very successful coffee morning we hosted on behalf of the Macmillan Organisation at the end of September.Not only did we raise 202 euros but we recruited 5 new members and at least one more joined at the last history group meeting.
We have agreed a price of 25euros for the Xmas Lunch on the 4th December,which is being held at LEWS,in El Faro,Torrox Costa.The day will begin with complimentary Cava,followed by a 3 course lunch,inc complimentary wine or beer, then coffee or tea.A good raffle is also planned as well as one of Pearl’s quizzes.The booking form will be issued shortly so make a note of the date and enjoy some great company and friendship.
Big event for all members this month is the Members General Meeting,on the 19th October,at Media Cana resturant on Penoncello Beach,at 11.00am.Complimentary coffee and tea available from 10.45 and we hope to see you all there.

Art Group—-continues to meet weekly at Media Cana 10.30 on Wednesday Jeanne would be happy to see some more members.
Book Group —meets on the last Wednesday of the month, in Algarobbo Costa, at Bar Chiki,at 11.00am.
Discussion Group—meets 2nd Friday of the month at Media Cana at 11.00am. Gerry would like to see one or two members please,contact him direct. History Group– Meets last Monday of the month at 11.00am,at El Pozuelo Cafeteria.
Lecture/Presentation Group—meet at 11.00am at Media Cana,on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.In October will be showing more information about Venezula following Ramon’s session in September.
Mahjong Group—meets every Thursdayat 10.30,at 10.30,at Mena Golf and is now led by Penny Poole.New members invited to come and enjoy a new experience by learning this game,that is enjoyed by millions,worldwide. Meditation Group—Continues to meet regularly,see the website for details. Monthly Meal Deal Group—Continues to meet monthly and continues it’s very successful programme.2nd Wednesday of the month is when Judy Milner gets everybody together.
Munch Bunch Group—this group returns this month with Lunch at El Varadero Playa,Penoncello Beach on the 15th of the month.Maggie Silwood is in charge of the is event this month.
Petanca Group —Returns this month at Laguna Beach at 10.30. on the last Thursday of the month and earlier on the Thursday two weeks before.
Table Games Group—every Monday at 1300 for 1330 start at Mena Golf.Crippage, Mexican Train etc etc all available to enjoy.
Writers Workshop Group—Returns this month on their usual rotation,see the website for details.
Coffee Morning—-every last Thursday of the month to get together to chat and make new friendships.One member of the committee will be available to meet and explain our organisation and recruit new members.
